How to Change Your Outdated Subconscious Programming

raisethe vibration I air cover image 300dpiI recently listened to a talk by Developmental Biologist and author of “The Biology of Belief,” Dr. Bruce Lipton. It was a fascinating discussion about the subconscious mind and how we are “programmed” with beliefs and behaviours that don’t fit with what we really want. 

He explained that the subconscious mind is like a recording device, and before age 7, the brain’s primary function is to record everyone else’s behaviours and beliefs of how to be in the world. As adults we may find that these programs do not match our own conscious thoughts and preferences for how we would actually like to be. 

People go through great effort – with self-help books and other learning materials – to change this subconscious programming (e.g. lack, self-sabotage, addiction, failure, procrastination, unworthiness) with little success because teaching their conscious mind DOES NOT change the subconscious programming. 

According to Dr. Lipton, the science shows that there are only 3 key ways to change the subconscious programming:

1. hypnosis/subliminal,

2. habituation/repetition, or

3. energy psychology modalities.

He says energetic modalities are the evolution of change for the world, because when you reprogram your own subconscious and raise your frequency or vibration, you are positively affecting everyone around you too. 

As it happens, The Emotion Code is a great way to raise your vibration by releasing negative trapped emotions!
